Navi Mumbai Launches NMMT Bus Services via Atal Setu

Starting from Thursday, September 12, 2024, Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) is introducing two new air-conditioned bus routes, providing faster connectivity between Navi Mumbai and key locations in Mumbai via the newly inaugurated Atal Setu, also known as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL). These routes will significantly improve travel times for passengers commuting between Navi Mumbai, Panvel, and Mumbai.

New Routes:

  1. Bus Route 116:

Route: Nerul Bus Station (East) to Mantralaya via Ulwe, Shivajinagar Toll Naka, and Atal Setu
Key Stops:
Nerul, Sagardeep Society, Ulwe Prabhat Heights, Shivajinagar, Atal Setu Toll Naka, Dockyard Road, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CST), and Mantralaya (Mumbai)

Duration: Approx. 95-100 minutes
Fare: ₹230

Nerul to Mantralaya: 7:55 AM
Mantralaya to Kharkopar: 9:45 AM
Kharkopar to Mantralaya: 5:20 PM
Mantralaya to Nerul: 6:25 PM

  1. Bus Route 117:

Route: Kharghar Sector 35 to Mantralaya via Panvel, Palaspe, and Gavan Toll Naka
Key Stops: Kharghar, Kalamboli, Panvel, Palaspe, Gavan Toll Naka, Dockyard Road, CST, and Mantralaya

Duration: Approx. 115 minutes
Fare: ₹270

Kharghar to Mantralaya: 7:40 AM
Mantralaya to Kharghar: 6:15 PM

These new routes will provide commuters with direct and efficient travel to important locations across Navi Mumbai, Panvel, and Mumbai, benefiting both daily travelers and occasional passengers.

The NMMT encourages citizens to take full advantage of this service to enhance their daily commute and enjoy a comfortable, air-conditioned ride via the Atal Setu route.
